Vinification:
The grapes were hand picked, extended maceration and fermented in 500 liters French oak barrels. Aged for just over a year in French oak barrels.
Production 20 000 bottles.

Elegant with fine hints of wood, a mixture of candied fruits and chocolate. |
Palate: |
In the mouth it is intense and structured with rich fine tannins and meaty showing well the terroir profile. It is harmonious and well made. |
Other: |
El Castro de Valtuille is a refined wine that is fairly versatile, may be paired with coq au vin, in place of a Pinot Noir also goes well with game meat dishes. |
